My name is Pamela, I'm 44 years old, 1.86 m tall, I work as an administrative administrator in the veterinary office, and my hobbies include swimming, motorcycling, writing poetry, reading (or being read aloud), and much more. Life has so much to offer, so I'm always discovering new hobbies for myself.
The interview:
What is important to you when buying trousers, what do you pay particular attention to?
For me, pants simply have to fit perfectly and, of course, be long enough. When a woman feels comfortable in her clothes, she radiates that! Quality, sustainability, and fair production are also important to me.
Have you ever bought pants that were actually too short for you because they weren't available in your size?
Unfortunately, I often find myself seeing pants whose cut, color, and shape are simply perfect, and which I absolutely want to have. I've even bought them too short, only to be utterly dismayed to realize that they simply look ridiculous. Even the kindly comment in the store, "that they're 3/4-length pants and you can wear them that way," doesn't help... Sorry, but too short is simply too short!
What styling tips do you have for other women with long legs?
Only buy pants that you truly feel 100% comfortable in. These pants are available for us tall women, too. With a sweater or shirt, you can certainly do a little tricking, but not with pants. Well-fitting pants also show off your figure perfectly. And women with long legs in long pants are always a real eye-catcher. ;-)
What do your favorite pants look like (cut, color, style)?
I love skinny jeans in every color. I've also become particularly fond of high-waisted jeans. My style always depends on my mood. Sometimes bright, sometimes sporty, sometimes casual, or sometimes elegant. I love skinny jeans with sneakers and a cool hoodie just as much as I love skinny leather pants with pumps, a blazer, and a chic blouse.
What are the advantages and disadvantages for a tall woman with long legs?
One disadvantage is indeed the often limited choice, but thankfully, this is changing more and more. The fashion industry is rethinking things. I can always shorten pants that are too long, but I can't lengthen pants that are too short. One clear advantage is that we can wear many long pieces that tend to make shorter women look unflattering. For example, long cardigans or dresses. Plus, we tall women always have a good overview and perspective ;-)
Do you sometimes wish you were smaller?
I often felt that way when I was younger. I always automatically crouched down a bit in photos so as not to stand out like a giant. Now I see things completely differently. I feel very comfortable at my 1.86 m! I radiate that, and it makes me stand out in a positive way.
What is your definition of beauty?
For me, beauty doesn't mean looking perfect, but rather loving your own personality and radiating that. No Botox, no cosmetic surgery, no makeup, and no outfit, no matter how expensive, can replace that. A woman with a positive aura is simply beautiful from within.
Do you also like to wear high heels and how do you combine them?
Sure! Despite my height! I like to wear them with tight trousers, long dresses, or even a pencil skirt. Depending on the occasion, I choose a casual top or even a blouse. A blazer always works, too, of course, just as I wear a leather jacket with heels.
Miniskirt with long legs – must-have or no-go?
I find that rather difficult. I find a pencil skirt much more feminine and sexier. A miniskirt can easily look too short and, to me, rather obtrusive. But everyone has different tastes. ;-)
Can a tall woman with long legs wear anything or are there no-gos?
Personally, I consider a miniskirt a no-go. The proportions are simply not right. Otherwise, I believe, "whatever you like is in!" It certainly depends on your figure as to which body parts should be emphasized or concealed.
Do you have a motto in life?
Your life can't be repeated! So start every day with a smile, enjoy every hour, and leave a positive mark with good deeds that will remind the world of you.
