The PADDOCK'S label was founded in the early 1970s and has since produced long women's jeans up to size 40 in their own factories in Vietnam, Tunisia and Bangladesh. Since PADDOCK'S says that denim is their passion, sustainability and social responsibility in the production of their jeans is also extremely important to them. They design their products at their headquarters in Bremen and then produce them in their own factories, which means they have 100% control at all times and can implement improvements immediately if necessary. PADDOCK'S has stood for denim designed in Germany since the beginning.
Great importance is attached to complying with all social standards, including paying fair wages, strictly observing the prohibition of child or forced labor, reasonable working hours, providing hygienic facilities and access to medical care, and taking into account all relevant safety requirements.
Another main focus is on sustainability and thus on reducing harmful substances that have a negative impact on the environment. For this reason, PADDOCK'S factories work with their own laundries and in-house sewage treatment plants. But not only that, in parallel they are developing a process with the help of which the washing process can be improved so that the use of chemicals and water consumption can be significantly reduced.
In addition, certified fabrics are increasingly being used, as the materials required are also of great importance for the environment, people and animals. PADDOCK'S works with the OCS, BCI, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and RDS certificates.
