If you're tall, you know it: you stand out in a group photo, you have to bend or stretch again and again when shopping, and on an airplane you feel like a giant in a miniature world.
Being big is wonderful – but it also brings with it daily challenges that many people cannot understand.

I'm 6'2" myself, and although I love my height, I know only too well how exhausting it can be sometimes. In this post, I'd like to share my thoughts and experiences—perhaps you'll recognize yourself.

The right start: A car that fits

The struggle begins with the choice of car.
While my friends happily drive around in a small city car, I need a car in which I can stretch my long legs without feeling like my knees are stuck in the steering wheel.
Compact small cars? A no-go!
For many tall women, this means having to dig deeper into their pockets just to find a vehicle that is comfortable and safe.

Bicycles – the matter of frame size

The next point: bicycles.
While there is a huge selection for average sizes, finding a bike with a large frame quickly becomes a test of patience.
Frame size 60? Not available in most stores!
The result: You either order online on a whim or ride for years with a bike that doesn't fit properly – and doesn't feel particularly good either.

Flying with XXL legs – economy class? No thanks!

Air travel is often pure stress for tall people.
For me, the legroom in economy class is zero – I spend the hours squashed like a folded pocketknife.
I've gotten into the habit of reserving seats with more legroom well in advance, but these, of course, cost extra.
What is only a small extra cost for others becomes almost a luxury problem for tall people – but we simply want to sit comfortably.

Shopping frustration: The eternal search for long trousers

And then of course the classic: fashion.
While other women spontaneously pick up a pair of jeans from the store, I have to go on a special mission to find pants that are long enough.
Standard sizes usually stop at length 34 – much too short for me.
Every woman knows the feeling when perfectly fitting pants complete her look. But for tall women, this often means hours of searching or returning the item.
That's exactly why I discovered LangeHosen.de – finally, a shop that understands that we have long legs and want to wear fashionable styles without having to compromise.

Proud of your own greatness – and be a little bit special

Yes, being tall sometimes means not fitting in.
But it also means standing out, being confident, and celebrating your own uniqueness.
I have learned to see my height not just as a challenge, but as a gift.
Whether in sports, at work or in fashion – my height makes me special.

My personal tip to all tall women: Embrace your height, celebrate it, and dress in a way that makes you feel strong and beautiful.
At LangeHosen.de you will find trousers that not only fit you, but also show: We grown-ups are unique !
