It's all about the length
...that's not just true for tall women, but also for us tall men. At 2.03 m (6'8") tall, it's not easy to find well-fitting jeans that are also long enough. Most jeans stores often limit the size to a 34 or a 36 (maximum). And jeans that are too short simply don't look good on my height. It's very reminiscent of Pinocchio, who always wore pants that were way too short and would certainly have looked much better in long pants.
Perfectly staged
Then there's the challenge of finding the perfect fit. Not every man is a fan of skinny jeans, which truly show off their body with their tight-fitting legs. For some, a regular fit is definitely a better choice. Not all jeans are created equal.
The choice of color can also be a real stumbling block for some men. Blue jeans, black, or white. When you have the choice of color, you're spoiled for choice. One of my favorites is the CROSS Dylan jeans in deep dark blue, regular fit. A comfortable fit, not too tight. The deep dark blue goes perfectly with my hoodies, but also with a casual jacket and shirt.
The CROSS Antonio Jeans, Relaxed Fit in grey, are also among my favorites. And not just because both are available in plus-size size 38.
Thick or thin
For me, the material my dream jeans are made of is also immensely important. Not too thick, easy to move. As a frequent cyclist, I like the feeling of freedom of movement. The fabric of my jeans shouldn't be too thin either, otherwise, too much pedaling on the bike would quickly ruin my dream of wearing them. Finding the right pair of jeans is often not easy. I'm also not a fan of long shopping trips to stores. For me, buying pants has to be quick and uncomplicated. My favorite shop, www.langehosen.de, is based on the world wide web. There, I find pants lengths up to 40 cm, in the colors, brands, and fits I want. One click, and in a short time, I can try them on at home. I can decide for myself whether I feel comfortable with my selection, what I want to wear with them, and which shoes look good with them. Of course, there's no substitute for a salesperson in a store. But I don't need advice when buying jeans. I know best what I want and what I feel comfortable in. I see things differently when it comes to a suit.
A quick click
A personal experience recently convinced me of this approach to shopping. I was away on a business trip for a week. The entire day was booked with appointments. After my first meal, I saluted my jeans for a casual evening with a good, expensive red wine. Dry cleaning at the hotel would have taken several days. A stroll through the city was canceled due to a sauna visit that was a priority for me. So I decided to take the quick approach and reordered the same pair of jeans directly to the hotel. Within a short time, the red wine stain was forgotten, and the clothes I had selected to match the jeans in my suitcase were comfortable to wear. Long live my online shop.
While online shopping continues to grow, women are naturally the true champions of shopping. So, shops in cities will continue to be busy.
